Ammonia Distribution – Balancing Manifolds
The photographs on this page illustrate the pride of workmanship and quality that goes into every Ammonia Distribution and Manifold Piping component system. These custom systems can include carbon or stainless steel construction, typically 4” to 14” main piping with 2” thru 4” branch connections, 2 and up to 20 branch connections are typically used. Complete assemblies generally include:
- Block/balancing valve
- Orifice plate
- Differential pressure gauge w/ isolation valves
- Stainless steel tubing and fittings
- Pressure gauge or transmitter (as required)
- Skidded and delivered completely assembled
Ammonia Distribution Piping
Vector Systems prides itself on the quality of welding and design, and this is evident even in the distribution piping critical to ammonia handling systems. Vector Systems provides complete distribution piping takeoffs, supports and bracing as required, and carbon or stainless steel construction, all shop fabricated to meet each customer’s custom field weld locations.
Ammonia Injection Grid
Ammonia distribution in pollution control applications is a key design factor, because of this Vector Systems takes a high definition approach. For example, our injection grid design incorporates fundamental fluid dynamic principals, geometric design, and in many cases Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis. As a result Vector Systems ensures an even distribution across, not only along the length of the injection lances, but also at the face of the catalyst downstream in the duct.
Our attention to detail is evidenced in our quality carbon or stainless steel construction. Finally, our attention to detail assures:
- Lances or header can bolt directly to the manifold
- All lance holes can be individually sized if needed
- Machine located and drilled for consistency
- And that in all configurations, you can expect:
- Individual insertion lances
- Prefabricated header assembly (2-5 lances)
- Complete “span” header assemblies (10-20 lances)
