Vector Systems Receives Ammonia Handling Equipment & Ammonia Process Skid Order from Tokai Carbon

VECTOR SYSTEMS RECEIVES ORDER FROM TOKAI CARBON

McKinney, Texas, August 13, 2019 – Vector Systems, Inc., announces that it has received an order from Tokai Carbon for their Borger Plant.

The Borger plant produces carbon black with feedstock oil containing excess sulfur in a high temperature environment. Natural gas combustion is used as the primary source of heat in the carbon black reactors.  This is the second project Vector is partnered with Tokai Carbon for the fabrication of process skids for the SCR application at the plant.  Vector’s scope includes the ammonia unloading station, ammonia pump skid, ASME Sec  VIII Div 1 15,000 gallon aqueous ammonia tank, and an electric ammonia processing skid.  Vector has extensive experience with over 500 fabricated skids for processing and controlling ammonia skids to meet the clients needs for SCR application.
